Celebrating the good times of one of my favorite artist of all time. Renowned artist Ernie Barnes dies at age 70. Most known for his painting titled, “Sugar Shack” which appeared as cover art on Marvin Gaye's "I Want You" album in 1976 and in the closing credits of the popular television show “Good Times.” [read more]. Barnes never painted his figures with their eyes open. He once said in an interview "We don't see each other. We are blind to each other's humanity."
